Hey Suncrest,
I’m asking you to “fast” sometime this week. After an incredible weekend, this Thursday/Sunday, I’ll lead everyone to take a step that is defining for their faith. Would you fast and pray that the spirit of God does something supernatural in our lives this weekend? It could include taking the step of baptism for many – maybe even you.
I’ve included the guide below that can help – especially if you have never fasted before.

Begin with a gratitude
Thank Him that the physical hunger you feel today is unusual for you and that He has always provided for our needs. Praise Him for being TRUSTWORTHY.
Read scripture and reflect
The suggestions linked here are about baptism and new life. Reflect on your own baptism/new life/fully trusting Christ as you read them. And think about each person you lead – their baptism/new life/fully trusting Christ. (Click on the links to read online):
Ask God to give us...
the supernatural experiences described in these scriptures. Ask Him to draw us back to our own fundamental trust in Him. Ask Him to use each of us as we lead others. Ask Him to work mightily in hearts and minds and souls during our services next Thursday/Sunday.
Reflect on what God is leading you to
Listen. Make some notes. How is God getting your attention? What is He saying to you? What do you need to do?
