WHAT WE'RE TEACHING:
Life and Love
In The Middle School World

Middle school is often the first time students begin to notice deeper questions about relationships, attraction, and identity. Feelings show up before language does, curiosity grows before clarity does, and students start piecing together what they see, hear, and experience around them.

In our upcoming series, Life and Love in the Middle School World, we’ll spend three weeks creating space for honest, age-appropriate conversations around dating, relationships, and God’s design for love and sexuality. Our hope is to help students think well, ask good questions, and understand that faith has something meaningful to say about this part of life too.

As a heads up, one of these nights (February 22) will include a focused conversation about sex and pornography. For many families, this can be a helpful moment to begin or continue conversations at home so students hear a consistent, healthy message in more than one place. (NOTE: This teaching will not be anatomy class, simply on God’s design for sex, and how it shapes our lives)
